Congratulations to our District winning talent teams!  We look forward to seeing your performance on Wednesday, May 15th, 2024 at the Area I FFA Convention in the FUB on the campus of WTAMU in Canyon.  

Be sure to read the State Rules for guidelines, as we follow these for our area event. 

Entries will be collected here:  Area Talent Entry Form - entry will close on Wednesday, May 9 at 11:59 pm.  Your judging card account will be billed after entry.

Lyrics or other words must be submitted to either Justin Been jbeen@esc17.net or Dalton Howard dhoward@farwellschools.org by Wednesday, May 8 for approval.

On Wednesday, May 15, please plan to arrive by 7:15 am at the First United Banking Center building to draw for performance order.  Park on the west (sort of) side to unload equipment.  Rehearsal and set up times are limited to 10 minutes per team and will be conducted in this order: 

7:30 am ~ Amarillo District

7:40 am ~ Greenbelt District

7:50 am ~ Littlefield District

8:00 am ~ Lubbock District

8:10 am ~ Plainview District

8:20 am ~ Top O' Texas District

This is the only time you will get to rehearse and set up.  The talent competition will be held towards the end of the general session and the results of the voting will be given shortly after and before the closing ceremonies.

The area talent winner will need to register for the state talent contest per instructions from Texas FFA by the deadline.
